Recovery begins with

admitting we need help.

Absolutely, sex addiction treatment works.

Addiction is a painful and challenging illness, and sex addiction can be a particularly difficult addiction to treat.  Sex addiction is an illness whose symptoms masquerade as non-problems – even "badges of honor" that some portions of society even encourage us to boast or joke about.  It is almost never addressed until it has advanced to such a degree that it has caused significant suffering or crisis for the addict or those they love.

But sex addiction can be treated.  Successful treatment can help an addict restore (or experience for the first time) a healthy sex life free of secrecy and shame.  It can help bring an end to self-harm, and the harm of others.  It can begin to rebuild the trust and integrity that has been lost through sexual acting out.

Research has shown that the best treatment results are achieved when afflicted individuals voluntarily participate in treatment with a skilled clinician and implements a combination of individual therapy, group therapy, and 12-Step meetings.

I provide both individual and group therapy at my offices in NYC and have spent the last 25 years developing deep roots in the 12-Step Recovery communities in New York City.  I look forward to helping you in your recovery.

Yes, sex addiction can be treated.  You just need to take the first step.
